Washington, DC– In March of this year Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-30) initiated a letter to Acting Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressing concerns regarding extrajudicial killings in Sindh.
Congressman Sherman is joined by Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-28), Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY-12), and Congressman Paul Gosar (AZ-12) on the letter.
This letter calls for justice for victims of and families of victims of extrajudicial killings in Sindh, citing the recent murder of Irshad Ranjhani. It also urges Secretary of State Michael Pompeo to ask for answers from Pakistan and hold those responsible for his death accountable. The letter can be viewed below.
